What better means of transportation is there than a train to sit back and relax while gazing out the window, viewing the eccentric natural beauty? The farther you move away from the capital city of Seoul towards the southern Gyeongnam regions, you'll be amazed by the evergreen landscapes.

# How to get from the Incheon International Airport to Seoul

Before leaving for Gyeongnam, you must first arrive at the capital. From the airport, use the Incheon International Airport Railroad, where you can choose between the general train and direct train. The general train stops by nine different stations before arriving at the Seoul Station. The ride is hour-long and costs 4,000 won.

The direct train arrives in Seoul about 43  minutes earlier than the general train. Tickets are normally sold at 14,500 won, but you can specially purchase them at 8,000 won for this year only.

Now, time to transfer to Gyeongnam from Seoul! After arriving at the Seoul station, choose from three options: the Korea Train Express (KTX), Saemaeul Train and Mugunghwa Train. The difference among these three trains lies in speed and cost.

The KTX is the fastest, arriving in just 2 hours, but tickets are expensive and its speed makes looking-out-the-window difficult. If you choose to risk a little bit of your time to savor landscape, ride the Saemaeul Train or Mugunghwa Train.

Another difference between the three train options is the stations they arrive at. The KTX and Saemaeul Train stop at Masan, Miryang, Jinyeong, Jinju, Changwon and Haman, the biggest cities in Gyeongnam. In contrast, the Mugunghwa Train stops at Gunbuk, Mulgeum, Banseong, Samrangjin, Sangdong, Wondong, Jungni and Halimjeong.
