The culture of  Korean Tea began in Hadong and this Yangtangguk Maeul Village in Hadong still preserves the original western coffee that was entered during the Daehan Empire Period.

In the olden days 'Tang-guk' was referred to as any heated liquid to drink. Therefore with Seo-Yang (meaning Western), it naturally came up with the
name of 'Yangtamg-guk' (Westernized Tea)

Aren't you curious to try-out what the first coffees of Korea and the famous emperors coffees tasted like? Head down to Hadong now~!
