'Changwon LG SAKERS' is the one and only Pro Basketball Team in Gyeongnam. Started from 1997 the team is loved by many sports fans.
They have won the league title at first year and recently during 2013~2014 season. They were in semi-finals in various of times including 2000~2001, 2002~2003, 2006~2007 seasons.
The seats are filled with sports fans and are cheering for their favorite team.
The games are tense between the rival teams. Two members, Kim Jong Gyu and O Se Geun has played for the Incheon Asian Game couple years back.

Any baseball fans out there? NC Dinos came in 3rd this 2014~2015 season. The team has been showing remarkable results for past two years, and Changwon is planning to keep on sponsoring NC Dinos to represent Changwon as 'Sports Tour City."
NC Dinos home stadium located in Changwon has a new discount promotion. When using public transportation to come to the game, there is a 3,000 won discount.
Inside the stadiums there are shops to buy souvenirs as well as foods to eat while watching the game.
The Dino fans are fanatic when it comes to cheering for their home team.
