Jinju is one of the convenient location of Gyeongnam and is only 3 hours away by express bus. You can take a express bus to Jinju Intercity Bus Terminal or Express Bus terminal.
From Seoul Nambus Bus Terminal it arrives at Jinju Intercity Terminal whereas from Seoul Express Terminal it arrives at Express Bus Terminal. You can take a train from Yongsan Station as well.
All the three routes take about the similar time around 3 hours.
When taking an express bus from Nambu Terminal after an hour or so it stops at Insam Land rest stop.
About 15 minute break is given and you can see the rest stop of Insam(Ginseng) Theme.

When going back to Seoul, you can book a ticket here at the box office. Buses to Seoul go by every 30 minutes.
Take a break or a meal here available at the station.
You wait for the bus to Seoul here. In 3 hours you will arrive at Seoul.
