'The Sound of Flower' starring Suzy opened in theater recently in Korea. When she did several interviews for the movie,
she has picked Ecology Park and Hwangmaesan Mt. at Hapcheon as her favorite spot filming the movie~!
The movie opened at November 25th.
It is a story about a first woman to become a Sori-kun, a Korean traditional music singer.
She has fallen in love with the nature of
Hwangmaesan Mt. that she has forgotten that she was there for the movie.
The beauty of
Hwangmaesan Mt. is miraculous. The silver grass field shines brightly during this time of the year when wind starts to blow.
Another movie being filmed in Korea at Hapcheon is 'Operation Chromite, 2015.'
What drew attention to this Korean movie was that Liam Neeson is going to play the role General MacArthur. He is going to be filming with Korean actors such as Lee Jung Jae and Lee Bum Soo.
The background of the movie is a true story of the event 'Battle of Incheon.' It is during Korean War when North Korean Army was invading South Korea. The United Nations and South Korean forces were commanded by General of the Army Douglas MacArthur of the United States Army.
It is going to be filmed at Hapcheon Image Theme Park and about two weeks are going to take to build the set.
The movie is going to start filming at November 26th and open in theaters at 2016 June.
