There are many areas to watch the sunrise in Gyeongnam but let me recommended some of the spots in Milyang.
1. Jongnamsan Mt.
It is 663 m above ground and it is a great place to see the sunrise at the middle of the city. When you are at the summit, you will be able to see the great lake surrounded by mountains. From 7 a.m the people who arrive at summit is provided of warm soup, and provide kite-flying programs to wish for luck for the new year.

2. Maneosan Mt.
The next off is the Mt famous for Maneosa traditional temple location. It is known to have mysterious energy where you can hear various sounds coming out from the rocks. The place is selected as one of 8 grand beauties of the Milyang-si City.
