In Yangsan, Gyeongnam, Eden Valley Resort is crowded all throughout the year with frantic tourists out for golf, horse riding and a splash in the water park.

The ski grounds are especially bustling during winter. Strangely enough, Eden Valley Resort is located in the southern area, unlike others which are up in the colder regions.

The resort stands at 800m above sea level with the average temperature maintained at 5 degrees Celsius below zero, so no worries for ice-melting.

You can enjoy a day's rest at the Eden Valley ski ground, but we recommend lodging a couple of days to fully enjoy the fun. Weekend reservations are normally packed, so make sure you call in advance!

After you've made your reservation, head on to the resort. No need to carry around your heavy ski equipment because the resort is equipped with rental service. You can also find rental shops near the resort, where they additionally offer pick-up service, too.



If you're bound to use the rental service within the resort, purchase a rental ticket at the booth. Write down your identification information on the back of your ticket and submit it with your ID card. Foreigners can submit their passports or certificate of alien registration. The quality of snow is most crucial for skiers and snowboarders alike, for it tends to add thrill to their rides. Sunlight is nowhere to be seen in Eden Valley Resort, which climatic factor maintains iciness throughout all opening hours.

Also, you can choose among a variety of level courses, so no need to worry if you're a beginner. Seven slopes and four rifts for each sector are prepared.

A glide in the winter breeze will tense your muscles, so how about a nice hot steamy bath at the resort's hot spring?

The water, pumped from 1030 meters underground, will heal your muscle pain and purify your skin. During winter, it is provided at the resort sauna and guest rooms, and during summer, at the winter park swimming pool.

After a glide in the winter snow, return to your lodging in a resort filled with 550 guest houses of various sizes: 16 pyeong, 23 pyeong, 32 pyeong and 46 pyeong (1 pyeong = 3.3 square meters). Each room is equipped with a 42-inch LCD TV and a DVD home theater with the highest quality of sounds. 

Additional facilities include a screen golf course, pool table, arcade, foot volleyball field, survival ground and ATV.
