The moment you walk into the Gyeongnam Tree Garden, a vast green yard and tree-lined street will warmly guide you into the arms of nature.

The pillowy mud trail paired with the sun shining through tree leaves will make you feel at ease.

Korea has four distinctive seasons each with different seasonal plants, but at the tree garden, you can see broadleaf trees and needleleaf trees all at once.

You will need at least two hours to tour the garden filled with tropical plants, water plants and even a pond at the summit of a mountain.

For those running out of time, go straight to the forest museum where you can learn all about the plants and animals living in the tree garden.

Unlike other tree gardens, you can also learn about fossils and ancient plants at the Nature Specimen Room and Fossil Exhibition Lab.
